Attend whatever sessions of the Wendell Berry Christian Writers Conference interest you and fit your schedule, at least three panels. Introduce yourself and have a conversation with at least two off-campus attendees or presenters. You can ask them why they enjoy reading and thinking with Berry, what their research or teaching interests are, or other questions that seem apt. Write up a three-page report describing what you learned and observed from the conference: Why are people drawn to Berry’s writing? What key ideas or practices do they adopt? Where might lines of disagreement or debate lie?
