The final project can focus on policy, publicity, or public practice.
Once you have an idea, talk with me and we’ll come up with a reasonable form for this project to take. You might write a standard, 8-10 page academic essay that makes an argument for an environmental policy, or you might design a publicity campaign for an environmental issue, or you might articulate and promote an environmental practice that should be more widespread. Whichever route you take, try to focus on a place or issue that you particularly care about. While the focus of our class discussions will be ethical eating, your final project doesn’t need to be food related; you can apply the modes of thinking that we develop in our class discussions to a different ecological issue.
