Each day we’ll begin class with a brief, objective reading quiz. The purpose of these quizzes is to hold you accountable for doing the reading and give you regular feedback that lets you know whether your baseline reading comprehension is adequate or not. If not, reconsider your reading and note-taking practices. I’m always happy to chat with you about the quizzes or how you might read more carefully. Your lowest two quiz scores will be dropped.
